Alongside structural design, we offer a wealth of experience in SuDS drainage provision, using the latest industry leading modelling software to plan effective storm drainage solutions and compliance with ever evolving planning legislation.
Team
Steve graduated from Heriot Watt University, Edinburgh in 1996 and has nearly 30 years experience in the construction industry. After several years on heavy civils infrastructure projects such as the channel tunnel and large scale sewage works he turned to design consultancy. Steve specialises in finding creative, efficient and sustainable drainage solutions for all scales of project.
Richard’s background combines a design degree from Nottingham Trent University with an HND in civil engineering. Starting out as a technician and building surveyor, he has built almost 20 years of specialised expertise in structural engineering. Richard prides himself on taking complex structural problems and turning them into straightforward, cost-effective solutions for his clients.
Richard at Nicoll+McBrayne is my preferred choice for structural calculations for all of the projects I design. He is extremely helpful and happy to offer advice on design issues. The fees charged are reasonable and the calculations are always produced within the agreed timeframe.
